Desarrollo del sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud ocupacional basado en la Norma ISO 45001:2018 para el Centro de Mantenimiento Blindado “CEMAB” de la Brigada de Caballería Blindada N.11 Galápagos

Abstract

Complying with Occupational Health and Safety standards is an obligation that all organizations have towards their employees. In the country, the national legislation in force establishes the standards that must be complied with, in addition to these laws, there are ONG standards that establish minimum parameters that an organization must comply with to safeguard the health and safety of all its employees. For this reason, the objective of this research was to develop the Industrial Safety and Occupational Health Management System based on the ISO 45001:2018 standard for the Shielded Maintenance Center CEMAB of the Brigada de Caballería Blindada N.11 Galapagos. For this purpose, the research was developed under a bibliographic, exploratory, and descriptive methodology, whose method was analytical-synthetic. The instruments used for the research were the interview, the survey, and direct observation, these instruments were used to identify the current situation of the armored maintenance center. The study revealed that the company has 80% documentary compliance, but in terms of implementation, the surveys show that work must be done on the application and monitoring of the control processes that are documented. In addition, to properly carry out this work, important activities were executed such as the initial diagnosis of the management system in safety, health, and environment of the armored maintenance center "CEMAB 11", the analysis and evaluation of the processes according to the requirements of the ISO 45001:2018 Standard, for which it was performed, the updating of the documented information, the generation of the missing documented information and the socialization of the work done in the "CEMAB 11"
