Análisis estadístico de la información de archivos maestros de instituciones educativas de los años 2015 al 2019 de la provincia de Pichincha

Abstract

The present work aims to analyze the variability of the information in the master file of educational institutions in Pichincha province between the years 2015 to 2019. The classification of the data obtained from the Ministry of Education was carried out using Excel through AMIE records collected at the end of each school year; the respective variables were classified the necessary for the study such as the number of educational establishments, workforce and students; an analysis of descriptive statistics was carried out with dynamic tables to know the behavior of the data, later with the help of line graphs, the trend of the variables analyzed was known to perform a regression analysis and verify which type of regression is adequate to make forecasts of the number of educational establishments, workforce and students that will exist for the period 2019-2020 in Pichincha province, a correlation analysis was also performed to understand the relation that exists between the variables, finally it was compared if the relationship of one teacher for every 25 students is fulfilled in the province under study. The number of 803 educational establishments, 35067 staff and 740,493 students were obtained which were forecast for the end of the 2020 school year, the percentage of variation for the number of educational establishments, workforce and students was 10.6%, 46%, 1.4% respectively in the 2018-2019 period, in terms of the relation of the number of students it was obtained that for each teacher there are approximately 41 to 54 students. It is concluded that Pichincha province shows a growing behavior in the educational system over time. It is recommended to use the present analysis model statistician for future research.
