Evaluación económica del Sistema Productivo Agropecuario de la parroquia Gualel, cantón Loja, en el año 2016.

Abstract

The objective of economically evaluate the agricultural productive system of the Gualel parish, located in the Loja canton and province, in the 2016, is to establish the real values of the productive system and generate a proposal for agricultural and livestock development of the parish. The methods used in the study were: inductive, deductive, descriptive, mathematical and technical which were applied through calculation formulas. For the economic evaluation, the Cash Flow was first calculated, which includes all cash inflows and outflows and the estimation of investments, with the assumption of keeping the cash flows for five years of projection without variation. Thus, the Net Present Value (NPV) of agricultural and livestock products was calculated at a discount rate of 12%, obtaining a NPV of 8,777.59 USD, while the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) was calculated through the application of a formula where the difference in rates multiplies the smaller NPV for the sum of the smaller NPV minus the larger NPV, to this result the lower rate is added; in the investigation, it reaches a percentage of 14%; the Capital Recovery Period (CRP) is 3 years, 5 months and 12 days; and a Cost Benefit Ratio (CBR) of 1.06 which means that, for every dollar invested, a return of 0.06 cents is obtained. It is concluded that the agricultural productive system of the Gualel parish is economically and financially viable, obtaining a gross income of 46,342.43 USD, it is recommended to train producers with the implementation of technologies for the optimization of local production with added value, focused in the needs of the market.
