Propuesta de repotenciación de las operaciones aéreas del Aeropuerto Jumandy - provincia de Napo

Abstract

The objective of this research work is to generate a proposal for the repowering of air operations for the Jumandy airport located in Napo province, a current situational analysis of the airport was carried out in terms of its infrastructure, operations and technological equipment; It allowed identifying the characteristics that the airport has and the services it has for the development of air operations from its facilities. The information required for the investigation was obtained through the application of methodologies and instruments such as interviews with the technical staff responsible for the administration of the airport and Amazonas Air Aviation School principal currently operating from its facilities, also with the application of observation sheets, the current state of the airport was verified. With the information obtained, it was determined that the airport has the necessary infrastructure and equipment to guarantee air operations from its facilities, in the same way, it could be evidenced that there are services that are in good condition but they are not operating at the moment, as It is the refueling service, it was also determined that there is a tourism potential in the province which can motivate the increase in air operations. It is recommended to articulate efforts with public institutions for the generation of benefits by attracting airlines to operate from the airport.
