Formulación del plan estratégico del Terminal Terrestre Dr. Roberto Villarreal V., del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal del cantón Morona, periodo 2018 – 2023

Abstract

The objective of the present degree work is the formulation of the Strategic Plan of the Terrestrial Terminal Dr. Roberto Villareal V. of the Macas city, its purpose is to progressively migrate from an empirical and improvised management to a strategic management with a long-term vision. In the diagnostic phase, information was gathered that allowed determining the positive and negative aspects of terminal management, and external factors to the management of the terminal. The results obtained show that the majority of people use taxi and bus cooperatives to reach the Terminal, a fact that directly affect the quality of the service offered by this Institution. This fact constitutes an important point to be taken into account in the development of a strategic plan. In the next phase, the strategic framework and the programmatic framework of the Strategic Planning of the Terrestrial Terminal were structured. This section contains the Vision, the Mission, the strategic objectives of the Plan. Subsequently, the projects of the Strategic Plan of the Terminal were formulated, with their respective budgets and execution schedule. t is recommended that the projects contained in this strategic plan be executed, since they were defined based on the strategic analysis of the different internal and external phenomena that positively or negatively affect the Terrestrial Terminal ,and they are aligned with the Vision and the Mission, which seek to be guidelines that guide in a technical way the decision making of the authorities of the Municipal Government of the Morona Canton and the terminal administrators, in such a way that the quality of the services and the financial sustainability of the Terrestrial Terminal is achieved.
