Formulación del plan estratégico del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal del cantón Logroño, provincia de Morona Santiago, para el periodo 2018 - 2021

Abstract

The objective of this certification work is to formulate the strategic plan for the Municipal Autonomous Decentralized Government of Logroño Canton, Province of Morona Santiago, for the period 2018-2021, with the purpose of serving as an instrument for planning, execution and strategic direction, guaranteeing the achievement of the objectives and the taking of opportune decisions made to the evaluation of the current situation of the Municipal GAD through a diagnosis through a qualitative and quantitative process of the information. And finally, the application of the SWOT matrix in order to identify the existing weaknesses and strengths, as well as to know the opportunities and threats, which will allow building internal processes for decision making. It can have an adequate planning, but the lack of an optimal control, the assessment of compliance of objectives will be deficient, it prevents obtaining the actual compliance percentage, the application of the control processes will allow to generate improvement actions allowing effectiveness of the organization, the evaluation was done of the current situation of the Municipal GAD through a diagnosis of the information. And finally the application of the SWOT matrix with the purpose of identifying the existing weaknesses and strengths, as well as knowing the opportunities and threats, which will allow building internal processes for decision-making, establishing as a basis the Inter-institutional Coordination that allow investments made in the canton to be more efficient and to meet the needs of the population. It is recommended to develop and promote within the Municipal GAD a culture of planning, as well as to constantly evaluate the result of the proposed strategies
