Análisis de factibilidad para el funcionamiento Museo Paleontológico Chalán parroquia Lícto cantón Riobamba, provincia de Chimborazo.

Abstract

This investigation proposes to: determine the feasibility for the operation of the paleontological museum, Chalan Licto parish, Riobamba canton, Chimborazo province; it used bibliographic review techniques, according to the market study and the application of surveys, a sample of 383 surveys from a universe of 150.374 people , it obtained a 85% the percentage of acceptance for visiting the paleontological museum, taking into account the tastes and preferences of local, national and foreign demand, where goods are offered within the museum such as: pieces of fossil remains, representative replicas, customs and traditional, food and drink, for which promotion strategies were established and advertising based on the study of the Marketing Mix, in the legal part it will function as a museum of private entity, governed by the established laws of the constitution and the organic law of culture, in the environmental it is viable, it marked a smaller percentage of threats for its environment, the project is feasible, the investment will be $ 93.399,35, giving positive values VAN = 71.195,3, TIR = 20% Cost-Benefit Relation = 1,51 and a recovery time that it goes from year 3 to 4 in relation to the 5 years of the project's useful life. It is concluded that the research is profitable; since the paleontological museum Chalan is a site that it already has cultural tourism. It is recommended to work in partnership with financial institutions that work in agreements: with the tourism sector and in this way continue with the museum project.
