Abstract

The aim of this research is to design a financial management model for the Municipal Fine Department of Canton Santa Clara, Pastaza Province; In order to optimize the financial resources and make appropriate and timely decisions. As an initial part of the investigation was based on a survey carried out to the workers of the entity, in the same way a diagnosis of the current situation was made through a FODA, where it was 60% of the staff pointed out that there are no strategies Duly established to improve the budget and 100% do not know the existence of a financial management model in the entity, emerging four strategies according to the needs of the entity, focusing on the model proposed in a financial analysis, Chart of functions, training plan and financial management indicators using the balanced Scorecard tool. It is recommended to work on the implementation of the model that integrates all the officials according to the tools used with their respective indicators, with the purpose of meeting the goals and objectives of the Organization and to measure the fulfillment of the Strategies, as well as contributing to decision-marking in a timely and correct way.
