Abstract

This research proposes the “Plan of Improvements to the File in the Government Decentralized Autonomous Rural Parish of Lieutenant Hugo Ortiz of the Canton and Pastaza Province”, it is a proposal that addresses the improvement of management and document control in the unit of secretary's file. An analysis was made of the file management through direct observation. The research was conducted in the secretary of the parish board, where a current diagnosis of the procedures was executed that is carried out in the area mentioned above, reception of documents, file, custody, consultation and customer service, determining this way the critical areas and the foci of continuous improvement. It has been proposed to improve the filing system to strengthen the techniques, methods and procedures used in the programming stages, formulation, approval, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and liquidation that make up the cycle of the document or file that is designed for its control. The results obtained will allow manage their activities more efficiently, improve the policies relating to the service offering the parish board, It is recommended the implementation of the proposal of the plan of progress to the file, what will be demonstrated by an organized documentary management of file and a customer service quality.
