Intervención educativa para el control de la anticoncepción hormonal femenina en la edad fértil Shobol Llin Llin.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to develop an educational intervention to contribute to the increase in the control of female hormonal contraception in the fertile age belonging to the Shobol Llin Llin rural community. It represents an effective method for preventing pregnancy in women at this stage of life. To meet this objective, an educational intervention was implemented in women in this life cycle belonging to the research context. It was applied the Ranges with Wilcoxon signs test and the McNemar test to evaluate the result of the intervention in relation to the level of knowledge, use of hormonal contraception and its control. The main results obtained during the pretest were the low use of hormonal contraceptives with a total of 52.5% of the total knowledge patients about this problem and women of childbearing age who use hormonal contraception in the pretest was characterized by 68.5 % of females without control; after the intervention, substantial changes were noted in all aspects. It is concluded that the educational intervention caused significant changes in the level of knowledge about hormonal contraception in women of childbearing age; It also positively influenced the increase in the use of these methods and the control of their use. Within the recommendations it is proposed to carry out similar educational interventions, adapting them to the characteristics of each community, to make women of childbearing age known on the need and importance of controlled and responsible reproduction; as well as the advantages of hormonal contraception to achieve such ends.
