Plan de importación de repuestos e insumos automotrices de transporte pesado para la empresa Nacional de Transportes y Servicios Cía. Ltda., de la ciudad de Quito, período 2017.

Abstract

The main objective of the current research is to design an import plan of automotive spare parts and automotive supplies to optimize costs of “Empresa de Transporte Pesado Nacional de Transportes y Servicios Cía. Ltda”, located in the Quito city, year 2017 through the direct importation process. It made two surveys applied to the workers of the company to determine the requirements of vehicles and corresponding machinery. On the other hand, it obtained data that allowed determining the necessary requirements to start with the import plan; taking into consideration national and international quotations from China in order to determine if the import to be made will have a positive effect with the cost reduction in the company. After the corresponding calculations, it verified that the implementation of the imports is viable due to exist a saving of $ 596,040.39 dollars. At the same time, it was possible to verify the viability through the application of financial indicators such as: Net Present Value (VAN) $ 8.649.217.93, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) 142%, Recovery period that comply with the established parameters to determine the feasibility of the study submitted.
