Repotenciación de un sistema de control semiautomático para una cortadora de perfiles utilizando PLC para la Empresa IMAC.

Abstract

It was carried out the repowering of the control system of the profile cutting machine with the aim of facilitating the cutting process for the company "Engineering of Maintenance and Industrial Control" IMAC. The method used is the inductive, because knowing the operation of each piece of the machine is achieved to achieve a general operation of the entire system for the process of metal cuts. The automatic control technique combined with the programming facilitated the solution for this project. The following materials were used in the project: 1 computer, 1 programmable logic controller, 1 touch screen, 4 contactors and in software: Operating System XP, Step 7 Basic and WinCC Basic. The program is designed in LADDER language, it is applied to the cutting process through the programmable controller, and is executed in real time, resulting in a very effective industrial application. Through the touch screen the operator enters distance data and number of cuts and starts with the process. It was obtained as a result that the cuts are performed correctly, in addition that increases the speed to make cuts at the rate of 3 cuts per minute ie increase the yield of production by 200%. The repotenciación of the system of control of the machine allows to facilitate to the operator the process of cut and to increase the number of cuts in less time reaching the desired goal.
