Proyecto de factibilidad para industrialización de plantas medicinales en el caserío El Pingue, provincia de Tungurahua.

Abstract

The objective was to verify the feasibility of industrialization of medicinal plants in the village of El Pingue province of Tungurahua, to contribute to the economic and social development of the sector; on the other hand, an analysis was made of the current situation of the production of medicinal plants in the sector. The market research to determine the acceptance of the product and the possible competitors, a determining objective for the investigation, as well as the administrative, legal, environmental, financial and social study. In order to carry out the research, the survey and field observation were used as the main instrument and, to process the results obtained, it used the Microsoft Excel tool. The research had a qualitative and quantitative approach. The data yielded positive figures for the study, reflecting that 95% of people surveyed consume aromatic waters, and 65% prefer to consume medicinal plants, in addition,85% it is willing to consume Medicinal plants sweetened with Stevia. In the financial study, a net profit of $ 1497 dollars was obtained in the first year of the project, which will be expanded according to the growth of sales, production and market behavior. The studies yielded positive results that allow affirming that the project of the industrialization of medicinal plants in the Pingue village is feasible, in this way the inhabitants and the sector will have access to greater possibilities of social, productive and economic growth. Therefore, it is recommended to start the project and take advantage of the productive potential and predisposition of the producers to start this project, considering that the community also it has great expectations in this regard as an innovation in the sector.
