Descripción e identificación de las características anatómicas y organolépticas de cuatro especies forestales comerciales en la parroquia San Jacinto del Búa, cantón Santo Domingo, provincia Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas.

Abstract

Ecuador is a country with great Forest diversity, but with limited information about anatomical and organoleptic wood characteristics, this investigation proposes: the four comercial Forest species anatomical and organolepti characteristics description and identification in San Jacinto de Baua parish, Santo Domingo canton, Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas province; with the purpose of contributing to our country industrial development. To the dendrological identification, the Escuela Superior Politecnica de Chimborazo and the Catholic University of Quito herbals were used. To the anatomical identification cube of 2 cm3 were made, to soften them in the autoclave at 1.2 Kg/cm2, with temperature 121 º C, they were softened in the same cycle (1 hour), the cuts were made (transversal, tangential and radial) with the rotary microtome to 0.3 microns, then place them in the stains: Safranin, Blue # 1 and Malachite Green, organoleptic (texture, grain, veining, luster, odor and taste), test tubes with the following size of 15 x9x2 cm were made. A cube was isolated for each species to calculate the density. Finally, the four species under study comparative tables were made, using a variance analysis.
