Evaluación tecnica-económica del reemplazo de maiz por trigo como fuente alternativa de energia en dietas de ponedoras comerciales.

Abstract

Through the corn technical - economic evaluation replacement by wheat as an alternative energy source in commercial layers diet, it can determine if there is a variation in the zootecnic parameters, as just as the economic validation influences the different replacement levels. This research was carried out ay Puembo rural parish belonging to Quito canton, Pichincha province at 2400 msnm altitude with a general temperature average of 15.6 ° C. In this research, corn replacement levels were used for wheat, viz. 20% (TA), 30% (TB), 40% (TC) and 50% (TD). 384 laying hens of the H & N Brown breed were used, starting the study from 19 weeks of age and ending at 30 weeks of age. For this trial, the completely random experimental design was used with a total of 12 replicate and the statistical analysis was performed by ANOVA to estimate the best treatment. In order to determine the differences between means of treatments, the Tukey test was used at 5%. The results of this investigation determine that there are significant differences (P 0.01) for the egg production indicator, being the TA treatments, TB and similar CT and the TD treatment different from the previous three presenting a lower production during the whole evaluation. While the economic evaluation the most ideal treatments are the TC and TD with an inclusion level of 40% and 50% of wheat respectively, having a lower cost ($ 0.046 ctvs./Kg of balanced).
