Estudio de factibilidad para la automatización de las operaciones de transporte interprovincial de la ciudad de Riobamba, mediante la preventa de boletos

Abstract

This research work consists of solving the problem of congestion that occurs in the ticket office at the time of acquiring to travel ticket and reducing waiting times of interprovincial transport users through the use of intelligent transport systems. To achieve what has been said before, a fieldwork was carried out, which consisted of collecting information, both primary and secondary level to corroborate if the proposed solution meet the users' needs. Moreover, the exploratory method was used that allows us to visualize the most important variables and to recognize courses of alternative actions thus that the use of the surveys to the entities related to the study served both in the quantitative aspect at the time of data collection and tabulation. In the qualitative aspect were defined existing processes. The points of relevance in the creation of a mobile application were identified, thus manifesting themselves with more than 70% acceptance of the users. In addition, 72.85% of them indicate that they would like to use a mobile application that meets their needs, 77.81% indicated that they would buy their travel tickets through the use of this computer tool. It was determined that the mobile application will help in a large scale to the decongestion of people, keep users informed, save time at the time of acquiring your travel ticket and ensure that the tickets belong to them without the need to go to the sale points.
