Modelo de Gestión de Riesgos Laborales en el área del relleno sanitario del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal del cantón Pastaza.

Abstract

The objective of the present research was to apply the Labour Risk Management Ecuador Model in the area of the Landfill of the Autonomous Decentralised Municipal Government of Pastaza Canton (GADMCP). The application of the management model was developed because of the found weaknesses in the industrial processes, analysing the initial state through surveys. In the Pastaza since 1995 canton the solid wastes handling started, which has been progressing in such a manner that the way to manage them has changed. However, the issues persist, because it is necessary a technical legal normative which minimizes the impacts generated for the handling of these wastes in the Canton. For the collecting, transport and final disposition of wastes it was generated a management model that allows to this dependence collaborators to care of their occupational security and health, the same which consist of the next phases: activities classification, risk identification, damage assessment, and the risk control preparation; the same that are identified through control indicators, flow charts and data sheets. It is recommended the application of the occupational risk management model to reduce the risks of the Waste Management Unit GADMCP workers, giving them dignified work environments, health and efficiency.
